Great Lakes Institute of Technology will host an Open House on Wednesday, March 20th from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Prospective students, current students, family and friends as well as members of the general public are encouraged to attend.

Guests can tour the school’s modern facilities and learn about each of Great Lakes’ six departments, including Dental Assisting, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, and Veterinary Assisting. These programs range from nine to 21 months in length.

Program Directors and instructors from each of these departments will be on hand to answer questions and give a preview of the overall curriculum and student experience. These programs can provide a pathway into a variety of potential new careers.

Director of Admissions, Heather Smith is looking forward to showing off all that Great Lakes has to offer. “We’re all truly excited to showcase what we do here at Great Lakes. Because our programs are all hands-on in nature, we thought it would be best to let prospective students experience that in person. We want anyone who has a passion for helping people to know that they can find a fulfilling career, and that we’re able to get them there in both the most direct and the most prepared way possible.”

The school’s admissions and financial aid departments will be available to work with interested students and families to help them make an informed decision and take their next steps to a profession in health care.

No appointment is necessary and there is no commitment required in order to attend.
