Each graduation, an Outstanding Student receives an award for exemplary performance during their education. Last week Victoria Kapsar of the Accounting Clerk program received the award for Great Lakes at our Spring 2018 graduation ceremony. Here is what Vickie Clements, Director of Education, said about her at the event.
Victoria graduated with a GPA of 97.1%, and has received recognition multiple times for her outstanding attendance. She is a mother of 5 children, who worked either part time or full time while also attending school full time. She was nominated for this award by her program director, who says, “Victoria is a pleasure to have in class. She has grown a lot during her time at Great lakes and her confidence level grows stronger each day.” We recognized early on in her education that she was a keeper, so we hired her to work in our office a few months ago before she even graduated, and she’s doing a great job. She’s kind, efficient, adaptable, trustworthy, and has taken to the position very well. We are proud not only to call her a graduate, but also to now call her a colleague. Congratulations Victoria!
