Muscles contract in a sequence known as a firing pattern or activation sequence that best produces joint movement. If muscles don’t fire the way they are supposed to this leads to labored movement at the joint and strained posture. Through this course we will activate the sequence of the most common muscle firing patterns including gait and assess them through palpation to maintain, restore and/ or strengthen the firing pattern. This course is ideal for those that want to help their clients move more efficiently. The course meets Pennsylvania continuing education requirements.
