Alyssa graduated from the Pharmacy Technician program in 2012 and is currently working at the Walmart Pharmacy in Erie.
What I like most about my job is that many of the patients really appreciate what we do for them. Many understand what it\’s like to work hard on each step of their prescription and make sure they have what they need to better their health.
Because of Great Lakes, I was well prepared for my job, especially when protecting patient privacy and following legal practices. The wealth of knowledge I gained on medicines and their uses has been very valuable. On a personal note, in my free time, I\’m preparing for my first baby due in May!
