Great Lakes recently met with John Zaczyk, Interviewer from Barber National Institute. BNI participates in our externship program and hires GLIT graduates.
GLIT: What advice would you give prospective employees before they interview?
BNI: Research the company you are interviewing for…know what it is they do and how you can grow within the company. You never know when someone will ask you a question from their website just to see if you checked out the company prior to the interview. Also, always be honest with your answers. There are different ways to word answers to make them sound better, but never lie about what you have or haven\’t done. The truth will always come out at some point.
GLIT: Why do you like working at BNI?
BNI: I like the mission of BNI…it is a wonderful company to work for and the ideas we stand behind and goals we are striving to achieve make each and every day more important than the previous.
