Congratulations to Lindsay, 2012 Medical Assistant graduate, for volunteering as one of our newest Program Advisory Committee members for the Medical Assistant program. The school\’s Program Advisory Committee, also known as \”PAC\” strives to improve career and technical preparation for students by developing closer cooperation between business and education.
Lindsay\’s career experience will assist our Committee in strengthening our programs, our graduates, and our medical community. Lindsay currently works as a Front Office Associate at MedExpress Urgent Care and had some words of wisdom for future and current students: \”Keep doing it and don\’t give up. While in school, I was a single mother and worked full time. It\’s not easy, but it is definitely worth it.\”
